Large Format...

Large format scanning is done on ColorTrac Gx+ color scanner. This scanner was specifically designed for detailed work with color variations, shadows and highlights. It uses a 36 bit "primary point" digital capture and twin tube illumination system to achieve greater detail and color matching. The ColorTrac can scan items up to 39" wide to any desired length. Scans can be made at up to 800 dpi and directly printed on one of our plotters. Files can be saved as a tiff or an eps.

Small Format...

Smaller jobs can be scanned to an Epson Expression 636 or to our HP ScanJet. These scanners can scan images up to 8.5' by 14'. Images can be scanned at up to 1200dpi. Images can also be saved to disk or directly on one of our plotters or our Canon Color Pass Laser Copier. These images may be enlarged up to 300% when printed and still retain good quality. Images can be saved as a tiff or an eps.

From a Disk...

The HP 1055 CM large format printer is a network-ready, high volume technical printing solution. It prints fast, accurate line drawings, complex 3D renderings and maps. We support Adobe PhotoShop 5, Quark Xpress 4, Adobe Pagemaker 6.5, Freehand 8, Corel Draw 8, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCad, and Microsoft Power Point on IBM compatible computers. Mac Files from: Freehand 7, Adobe Illustrator 7, Adobe PhotoShop 5, Pagemaker 6.5 and Quark Xpress 4.1 can be plotted. Files can be printed up to 34" by any reasonable length. Plots can be output on regular Bond, Heavy Weight Poster Bond, and Photo Base Papers (Gloss, Matte, Satin). Our newest plotter the HP 5000 PS is a 60" 6 color network-ready, high volume graphics printing solution with a 1200x600 dpi resolution on glossy media. It is capable of printing color images up to 569sq. ft. per hour in fast mode. It features excellent print quality, and also supports the same software, and media as the HP 1055 CM. It is also capable of printing on Backlit Film, Vinyl Adhesive, Film Gloss, Matte Opaque, Clear, Canvas, Static Cling Film, Tyveck Banner, and Scrim Vinyl.

From Hard Copy...

Hard copy can be scanned and directly printed from our color plotters. These plotters use specially designed wider heads to increase plotting speed dramatically. Our plotters also uses a multi pass printing technique which allows for better clarity. Plots can be up to 36" by 150". Plots are available on Bond, PhotoBase Papers (Gloss, Matte, Satin), Vinyl Adhesive, Film-Gloss, Matte Opaque, Clear, Canvas, and Static Cling Film.

From Hard Copy or a Disk...

The Canon Color Pass is capable of direct output from computer or hard copy from glass. Enlargements up to 400% and reductions down to 50% can be output on 8 1/2x11", 8 1/2x14" and 11x17 paper. Cardstock up to 65 lb. and transparencies at 8 1/2x11" can also be used. From disk we can output from Adobe PhotoShop 5, Quark Xpress 4, Corel Draw 8, Pagemaker 6.5, Freehand 8, Illustrator 7, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCad, Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Word 97 from PC. Mac files can be output from Adobe Photoshop 5, Freehand 7, Pagemaker 6.5, Illustrator 7, Quark Xpress 4.1, and Adobe Acrobat. This copier has a minimum border of 1/4", so full bleeds cannot be printed.
